The TestBox or parts of it are damaged
Use the contact form to report the problem.
The TestBox or parts of it are dirty
Clean the TestBox or use the contact form to report the problem.
A discette is dirty
Clean the discettes or order replacement discettes.
A discette is defective
Only use 8 perfect discettes for testing and order replacement discettes.
A discette is missing
Only use 8 perfect discettes for testing and order replacement discettes.
A discette no longer smells
Only use 8 perfect discettes for testing and order replacement discettes.
I cannot open the website
Depending on the device you are using, you have several options:
Enter the web address in your browser as usual: www.smelldiscettes.com.
Scan the QR code on the lid of the TestBox or on a diskette with your internet-connected device as usual.
I cannot find the products
Click on the «Products» tab on the website and then scroll down a little.
I cannot find my distributor
I cannot open the SmellTest
Click on the «SmellTest» tab on the website and fill in the three fields for your login to send it:
- Top field – your first and last name
- Middle field – your hospital/practice
- Bottom field – the 8-digit serial number of your TestBox, which can be found on the label on the back of the TestBox (example: SNO07Kb3) or scan the QR code next to the Swiss cross on the label.
I cannot open the user manual
After opening the « SmellTest » click on the button at the top to learn how to use the application.
I cannot start the SmellTest
On the « SmellTest » page, click on the middle button to start the test and on the newly opened page, fill in the four fields for patient data to start by clicking on the button:
- Select one of the three test options (left – right – both)
- Fields at the top – first name and surname
- Fields at the bottom – date of birth and test date
I cannot finish the SmellTest
Click on the button at the very bottom of the «SmellTest» to close the test.
I cannot save/print the test result
After confirming that you have finished the test, click on the button with the PDF symbol.
Depending on your device settings, you can then print, send and/or save the PDF.
I cannot restart the SmellTest
After confirming that you have completed the test and saved the result as a PDF, click on the button to restart a test by pressing one of the two buttons:
- "Same patient"
- "New patient"
